Ben is mobile!

Ben rolled over today! He did it twice in a row, and this is a picture of him right after we flipped him back over. He can only roll to his stomach from his back, and not the other way yet, but he's working on it. Ben actually rolled over a week ago, but did we see it? No, he is very stealth and chose to roll precisely when Mommy walked to the kitchen to get some water. This baby is very sneaky, but yay for him!

Little Fish

Happy Memorial Day!

Ben had his first swimming experience today at Grandpa and Grandma Sawicki's house. He was very fascinated with the water and didn't seem to know what to think. He looked confused, but intrigued by the mysterious water all around him that was not his bath! He will grow into his little boat float, and it has a cover to protect him from the evil sun! With his strong legs, he will be a very good swimmer in no time.

Mother's Day Weekend

Ben's Gram and Grandpa came to visit from Indiana! We had a very busy weekend with Nicole's baby shower and Mother's Day, but we managed to squeeze in a visit to the Dallas Arboretum on Friday, and Ben loved looking at all the flowers.

We also had an extra special Mother's Day because Benjamin was baptized at our church.
This is Pastor Clayton showing him to his new church family.

After Ben's big moment at church, we all went to lunch. Ben enjoyed sitting with his Uncle John.
Posing for our Mother's Day picture with Gram!

So handsome!

Last weekend was Ben's first out-of-town excursion. We went to Fredericksburg, TX for Angela and Justin's wedding. Ben did great at the wedding and reception, and we were very relieved. The night before was a different story-he screamed all through the rehearsal dinner. We won't be going out of town again for awhile...

12 weeks old!

Sorry for the delay in posting pictures-Ben has been growing fast! He is 12 weeks old now and is very interactive. He likes to smile and make all the cute little baby noises for us. He also still likes to eat every 3 hours, but that's ok. Some nights are better than others! As you can see, he's a pretty happy little guy most of the time, and we are very lucky and thankful for him.
