Playing outside

These pictures make it obvious that Benjamin loves to be outside. We are pretty sure that he has loved the outdoors since birth, as he stopped crying outside even then. Well, except for a couple of occasions where the colic got the better of him. Anyways, he loves to swing, explore the patio, and recently has figured out how to throw Maddie's toys for her!
Tonight he was playing with her rubber bone, and we usually don't let him because he puts it in his mouth (gross.) But he wasn't this time, and he was holding it out to Maddie, and then he tossed it. She got it and gave it back to him, and so it began. He laughed at her every time she ran after it, like he was so excited to be playing with her.
And yes, that is a golf ball in Ben's mouth. He was playing with it and before I knew it, had stuffed the whole thing in his mouth. We took a few pictures, then decided it probably wasn't the best thing for him to be playing with. Very funny though! :-)

Only 3 more weeks until Ben turns 1!!!

Double Stroller, yay!

I recently purchased a double stroller so that I can take the babies on walks to the park during the day when the weather gets nicer, but also for my sanity! Today was pretty nice, and Nicole and Emma were visiting, so we went for a stroll. They loved it, and kept looking at each other and smiling. Yay for getting outside!!
Benjamin also had some friends come over today, and these are pictures of him playing with Joshua. They played with the cars and also balls. I think Ben was probably excited to have a boy to play with him after hanging around with girls all the time! It looks like Joshua is telling Benjamin something very important here, so cute!

Here are just some random fun pictures. Ben is very silly these days, and his personality is growing. He seems to be strong-willed and independent, sensitive, and loving. He also seems to have a temper, but we're hoping that goes away when the teething passes!

Ben loves to push his shopping cart!

Mark is trying to teach Ben the sign for "book."

Below is Ben's version of a hug for Emma. Don't worry-she was not harmed! He did this the first couple of days after Christmas break-I think he missed having her here every day. And I couldn't resist adding this picture of Emma. She has the longest tongue ever! So cute. :-)
